Busy week

Wow, what a busy week. I took over as relief consultant at the Monday night group (6.30pm Masonic Lodge, Lockwood St, Driffield)this week, which was really weird, as I have been attending that group as a member for the last 17 months. I was really nervous and I don't know why, because everyone there is lovely and it must have been strange for them too. But, I'm so keen to help people lose their weight and I hope this showed.
Funny point of the evening (amongst many) was me presenting myself with my 5 stone award! I'm still not at my target, so will continue to weigh in at the Mon group as usual.
Monday group info to follow next week.

Thursday group
Fab night in group-with a visit from the inspirational Cedric Calvert-who's lost 4 and half stone in 16 weeks! I invited Cedric along to inspire the Thurs group (not that most of them need it). I remember Cedric starting in our group and saying he wanted to lose 5 stone for his special birthday in September. I must confess, that I along with others raised my eyebrows, because although I know what fantastic losses can be achieved by food optimising, I thought Cedric was maybe going to be disappointed. I must admit though, I admired the fact he was aiming high, because when you reach for the moon, you might just catch the stars!
Cedric brought in his weights, that he kept adding to as he lost more and more weight. He would pick them up every now and then to remind himself of how much he had lost.
Cedric's weight loss is incredible, but not I must add, usual. He has also had the spare time to do a LOT of exercise (by his own admission it is a lot of exercise).
He is inspiring other men to come and join, which is amazing. He is definately going to achieve his 5 stone loss before his birthday!!! Well done Cedric!.

Awards

Well done to- Beulah 1/2 STONE, Rachelle, 1/2 STONE & Freda 2 STONE, Well done everyone. Gordon who reached target has set another one-good luck.

Slimmer of the week-NIKKI losing 3 1/2 lbs this week. Well done Nikki.

Woman of the year competition

Victoria and Heather have been nominated for our groups Woman of the year competition to be held on Thurs 19th August. Well done ladies. I have also received another nomination-will announce next week, but remember to nominate for the lady you feel deserves to be nominated. If our winner meets the criteria to go forward to the next round-district final, this will be on 18th Sept. However, we are having a taster on our group night, so we'll party anyway, even if our lady doesn't meet criteria!

See you all soon-please add yourselves as followers.
